A team of Center for Industrial + Medical Ultrasound researchers and their collaborators have achieved the goal of bringing their non-invasive kidney stone treatment system to the market.

Ultrasonic propulsion, an investigational kidney stone treatment for awake un-anesthetized patients, sweeps stone fragments toward the ureter to facilitate their natural passage.
